As a Managing Partner at RKCA, Tom leads the firm’s strategy and execution across mergers and acquisitions, financing initiatives, and direct investment transactions. With over 20 years of experience in middle-market transactions, he brings a results-driven, solutions-oriented approach to every engagement.

Tom’s expertise spans a broad range of industries – including business services, industrials, niche manufacturing, healthcare, and SaaS – and he has advised clients ranging from large, publicly traded corporations to closely held, founder-led businesses.

Before joining RKCA, Tom spent over a decade as a Vice President in the Structured Finance Group at Fifth Third Bank (NASDAQ: FITB). There, he sourced, structured, and negotiated complex senior and subordinated debt transactions for private equity firms, family offices, and strategic acquirers nationwide. He also led asset-based lending efforts, helping businesses secure flexible financing solutions across a wide range of transactional needs.

Over the course of his career, Tom has sourced, originated, and managed hundreds of millions of dollars in senior debt and has evaluated hundreds of middle-market transactions. Today, with over 10 years at RKCA Investment Banking, he continues to serve as a trusted advisor to privately held businesses across the country and to companies within RKCA’s Direct Investment portfolio.

Tom is also deeply engaged in the civic fabric of the Cincinnati region, serving on Advisory Boards for the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the Association of Corporate Growth – Cincinnati Chapter  (ACG), and Xavier University President’s Advisory Council. Tom received his BSBA and MBA from Xavier University with honors, where he played for four years on the men’s basketball team.
