As a Partner at RKCA, Tom is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of mergers and acquisitions, financing, and direct investment transactions. Tom has over 15 years of comprehensive transactional experience throughout the middle market.

His expertise spans a wide range of industries, including industrials, manufacturing, healthcare and SaaS. Throughout his career, Tom has served clients ranging from large, publicly-traded firms to closely-held, founder-owned businesses.

Prior to joining RKCA, Tom spent over a decade providing leadership as a Vice President within the Structured Finance Group at Fifth Third Bank (NASDAQ:FITB). While at Fifth Third, Tom sourced, structured, and negotiated dozens of successful senior and subordinated debt packages for private equity, family office, and strategic M&A.

In addition, Tom structured traditional asset-based transactional financing nationally. Over the course of his career, Tom has sourced, originated, and managed hundreds of millions of dollars in senior debt and analyzed hundreds of middle-market transactions. Tom’s deep experience in middle-market transactional advisory continues to drive exceptional outcomes for RKCA’s clients.

Tom is also deeply engaged in the civic fabric of the Cincinnati region, serving on Advisory Boards for the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the TriState Association for Corporate Renewal (TACR), and the Xavier University Center for Innovation. He also provides leadership to many other community organizations. Tom received his BSBA and MBA from Xavier University with honors, where he played for four years on the men’s basketball team.
